July, 24, 2008 Mega Playland

Now this rocks!! Mikhai got a new mega playland in the mail today that we ordered for him! It is great. I got it out of the box and he was all over it. He was in and out of the tunnels ... in and out of the balls. He had a blast! This mega land play thing is HUGE! We had to split it up and put half of it downstairs and the other half in his play room. This is one of the tunnels he is working to get through. He had a "ball!"

July 22, 2008 Penguin Park

Today we went to Penguin Park to play. It got pretty hot out there so we only got to play for 30 minutes before turning in. We had fun though! Here is Mikhai on those bouncy things; He really wasn't sure what to think of them though.

July 21, 2008 Aquatic Center

We have a blast when we go to the Aquatic Center! Every week from 9am- 11am the water park is open for kids 5 years and under. It is only $4 for Mikhai to get in and parents are free!

July 18, 2008 Goin' to the Pond

This is Dada and Mikhai visiting the geese this morning. Dad is so good with Mikhai!!

We live right around the corner from a pond; Both yesterday and today Team Knapp took a walk to visit the geese. Mikhai is very curious and gets his game face on ... he goes to his "all business" demeanor. On the walk to the pond, we stopped and took a photo by a beautiful flowerbed ...

July 17, 2008 FIRE!

FIRE!

Today Mikhai, Daddy and Mommy went to visit the firetuck and ambulance with our stay at home mom's group.

Mikhai is still yet a little young to be too impressed with the big trucks, however, he had fun checking everything out ... the people, the colors, the bumber of the fire truck ...

It was hard to keep Mikhai still long enough to snag a photo next to the ambulance. He wanted to feel the side of the big truck and check out the colors. Yet ... another fun day with each other ...

July, 16, 2008 Playgroup

FUN TIMES TOGETHER.

Well ... we finally got out of our home today for a little adventure to our stay at home mom's playgroup. It has been 4 days since we've been greeted by the warm sun on our face ... and boy did we miss it!

Mikhai is working on a new sleep schedule so we weren't able to attend

the entire time at the playgroup but we enjoyed the company today!!

July 15, 2008 "Cough ... cough ..."

Cough ... Cough ... I so sick ...

What a battle this week has been! Daddy and Mikhai were under the weather. They were seen at the hospital on Saturday evening; Daddy had a 103 degree temperature! They both were tired and hurting. ((So sad)) HOWEVER, they are doing WONDERFUL now!! Braveheart is back in swing and getting into whatever his curious mind lures him into. Daddy is back to his vibrant self too!

Even though the boys were sick, we had a great family bonding time! We got to watch movies and just be with each other! We vegged on the couch and are very thankful for the times that we are feeling well.

July 11, 2008 Line Creek Train

We went to the Line Creek Train today!! What fun! On this 1/2 mile ride around the track we got a breeze considering the 100 degree heat index we're having today. Mikhai liked the ride though! Everytime we went through the tunnel he was a little unsure and held on tight. We really did have a great family time!

Wet n' Wacky Splash and Play Day!

Dada and Mikhai ... priceless face on our dear son! They are such a great team together! We are at "Splash and Play" at the Springs Aquatic Center! They had a blast together. It was fun to sit back and watch some great Daddy/ Son moments!

4th of July at the Proffitt's!

Happy FIRST 4th of July to Mikhai!! We went over to a friends house and celebrated with a BBQ after the zoo outing. Mikhai loved the fireworks ... the colors, the sounds, everything! He is so curious. We have nicknamed him Braveheart for his loyality to pursuing anything that could possibly be dangerous to him! What fun he is!

Fun stuff here! We are at the Kansas City Zoo on the 4th of July hince the "red, white and zoo" title. We had a wonderful time. The weather was beautiful ... not too hot ... just perfect! The tram that we were riding on ran out of gas in the middle of our ride out of Africa but all and all it was a wonderful 1st trip to the zoo for Mikhai! He is such a happy camper ... always so happy!
